David T. Kyle, Ph.D.
David Kyle has a broad range of
experience in management and organizational consulting. Besides his
academic responsibilities he has worked and managed in a variety of
organizational settings and positions as manager, director and
executive.
Dr. Kyle's consulting is focused
primarily in executive development and coaching but also includes
merger & acquisition integrations, strategic planning,
organizational redesign, change strategies, and senior team
development. Dr. Kyle works in both start up and mature organizations.
His client base mixes companies from both public and private sectors,
as well as profit and non-profit organizations. His international
consulting includes work in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the
former Soviet Union.
Besides founding Lind & Kyle
Consultants in 1984, Dr. Kyle has been involved in two other start-up
organizations. He was a founding member of Skopos Corporation, a Human
Resources Consulting & Software company; and was a founder and
President of Ontara Corporation, a Human Systems Performance Company
specializing in project management training and consulting.

As a professor, Dr. Kyle taught for ten
years at San Jose State University, University of Phoenix, Foothill
College and the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland. His academic
preparation has been a BA in Communications and Public Policy at U.C.
Berkeley, a MA in Communication Theory at San Jose State University and
a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology at Columbia Pacific University.
Dr. Kyle is past Chairman of the board
of the Foundation for Russian/American Economic Cooperation, a
non-profit foundation located in Seattle, WA, which fosters economic
development between medium and small businesses in the two countries.
He is currently chairman of the board for NCTV, a community access
television channel, and is on the board of Vitalpath Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Kyle is the Academic Director for the Masters of Arts in
Organizational Leadership at the Graduate Institute in Connecticut. He
also has served on a number of other non-profit and for-profit boards.
Dr. Kyle had responsibility for
developing and producing the 30 program PBS series, "Voyage:
Challenge and Change in Career Life Development". Dr. Kyle
lectures on a wide range of topics and has published two books: Human
Robots and Holy Mechanics: Reclaiming our Soul in a Machine World
(Swan/Raven & Co., 1993), and The Four Powers of
Leadership: Presence, Intention, Wisdom, Compassion
(Health Communications, Inc., 1998). David has a new book forthcoming,
tentatively called Awakening the Leader Within,
co-authored with Gary Heil.
